Do the elephant walk

Wouldn't it be great if we could walk like kids walk and not be looked at weird? There was this little girl on campus, couldn't have been more than 5, who was doing a sort of swaying elephant walk. She would take a step and swing her arms waaaaaay over to one side, then take another step and sway 'em waaaay over to the other side, occasionally throwing in a full spin or two here and there. It's almost sad how static older people walk, with no extraneous movement whatsoever...quite boring. Oh to be young again *

NYC

I got to go to New York for my birthday...well kinda for my birthday, we really went the day after but it was in celebration of me getting old. I got to go to the top of the Empire State Building for the first time ever, which was pretty neat. It was a really clear night, and the view from up there was spectacular! I was having a ball taking pictures. We went to Little Italy to eat and were seranaded by some Italian guy who, poor thing, couldn't sing for the life of him. All in all it was a very good day \.

Leaky faucet fixed

Hooray! I'm not sick anymore! Just in time for spring break :) I've been sick for the past few days now, mainly with a runny nose that dripped like a leaky faucet and a little cough. Lots of tea and TLC helped fix me all up. I have an entire week ahead of me to do whatever I want -- well, almost whatever I want. I do have to go over a bunch of stuff for the MCAT's yet, but luckily for me it'll only take a couple of hours each day.
There's only four more days left for me to be a 'teen.' I turn 20 this Thursday =) yey for me! I've heard that snow is in the forecast for Thursday, which means lots of sledding, snowangels and snowmen -- followed by marshmallows and a movie by the fire! And if it doesn't snow, maybe I'll spend the day in the city...
As for now, it's back to doing wonderful nothing for the rest of the day*
