Scubie duba

Michele and I started scuba classes this past weekend!! I've gotta say I was petrified to go under for the first time - consider the irony: one of my biggest fears is drowning, yet I became a lifeguard, almost joined the swim team, and now and trying scuba diving. But once I took that first breath underwater, it became one of the coolest things I've ever tried. My next vacation is definitely going to involve the tropics and lots of fish. The one sucky part of the whole day was putting on the wet suits. Imagine the tightest pair of jeans you've ever tried to put on, and multiply it by about 10 and you've got what those suits felt like to get into. I even got a 'wet suit' burn on my finger trying to get the thing on - an entire layer of skin came clear off. Nice to know, isn't it??
