I'm back!

Wow, it's been so long since I've posted. Here's a quick update: Christmas was great, New Years was great, and I didn't make any resolutions this year, as usual (I refuse to make any because they don't work). Now that you're up to speed with what's going on with me, a little of what's been going through my head. In particular the Michael Buble song "Home" - Another aeroplane, another sunny place, I'm lucky I know...but I wanna go home - All this flying around (and a lot of driving around) for med school interviews has been hectic and awesome, but it's strange knowing that I'm going to be calling one of them home soon. No more Jersey, no more living in the same bedroom I grew up in. It's so weird knowing that in 6 months my life is going to completely change. It won't even be one of those gradual things that over time you realize your life is different, this is just going to be like *WHAM!!* say hello to new life. It's so exciting yet so scary to think about. I wonder if I'll ever get used to it. I suppose 8 years should be plenty of time to settle in to someplace new, but it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out - and especially where that someplace new will be.
